Dine in the autumn air while helping feed our hungry neighbors at the College of Lake County-sponsored Farm to Fork Fundraiser for Northern Illinois Food Bank (NIFB) on Friday, Oct. 18.
The event will include gourmet preparation of CLC-grown produce and other local/natural/organic foods by the college's Hospitality and Culinary Management program. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with hors d'oeuvres and tours of the arboretum and campus farm, followed by dinner and a presentation from NIFB from 6--8 p.m.
The cost is $55 per adult or two for $100. CLC students and those under age 18 are $25 per plate and kids age 5 and under are free. The event will be held at the Horticulture Building, 19351 W. Washington St., Grayslake.
