Endorsements: Adachi, Briggs, Denson, DeWaele for Lake Park Dist. 108 board

With two incumbents opting not to run for re-election, the Lake Park High School District 108 Board will feature some new faces after the April 9 election. Incumbents Claire Adachi and Judy Briggs are running for another term along with challengers Doug Denson, Keri DeWaele and Raymond Kubalewski. Adachi and Briggs are both passionate about educating all Lake Park students, not just those bound for college. Both are endorsed. Denson, who currently serves as vice president on the Medinah Elementary School District 11 school board, is a data-driven person whose experience would be an asset to the board in the coming years. DeWaele and Kubalewski both bring an outsider’s perspective to the board. DeWaele’s experience as a licensed clinical social worker could be a particular asset. We favor her and Denson to round out the field.
