Seven different players scored goals for Elgin Friday as the Maroons picked up their second boys soccer win of the season, downing Keith School 7-1 at the Hononegah tournament.

Luis Monroy, Tamo Estrada, Kevin Gonzalez, Angel Dominguez, Adan Hernandez, Aldair Vargas and Edwin Hernandez each scored for Elgin (2-8-1).

Jacobs 3, Hersey 0: Matt Ehrhardt scored twice and Ian Treacy added a goal as Jacobs blanked Hersey in the Hononegah tournament. A.J. Pfatschbacher had 5 saves in goal for the Golden Eagles (6-2).

CL South 3, Sycamore 0: Trevor Bittenbender, Alex Tapia and Adam Gatza scored for the Gators (9-1-1) and David Walsh collected his eighth shutout of the season in this Hononegah tournament game.

Rockford Christian 4, St. Edward 0: Also at the Hononegah tournament, Nathan Ptak made 7 saves in goal for St. Edward (1-9).
