Harper hosts anti-war vets

A group of veterans against the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan will hold a discussion at 7 p.m. tonight at Harper College in Palatine.

The free event is sponsored by the Muslim Students Association and academic honor society Phi Theta Kappa. Veteran Cameron Halas said he and others will speak about their experiences, their support of the troops and other alternatives to the War on Terror. Associate Professor Tom DePalma will also speak.

The event is in the J Theater in Room J143 on the Harper campus, Algonquin and Roselle roads.
