No. 8 WW South (20-7) vs. No. 1 Glenbard East (25-1)

When: 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Outlook: Both teams made semifinal statements, winning by a combined margin of 51 points. This is the third meeting of the season between the first- and second-place teams from the DuPage Valley Conference. After beating the Tigers by 10 points the first time, Glenbard East added a 73-40 win in the second round. The Rams come at teams in so many different directions, starting with Zach Miller and Jack Merrithey on the perimeter. Johnny Hill's effective wherever he plays, while 6-foot-7 Lee Skinner roams the post. WW South made 11 3-pointers in the semifinal win over Bolingbrook, and the Tigers will need to be even more potent from beyond the arc in this one. Reilly O'Toole, Will Dolatowski and Greg McAndrew each need to be accounted for, as does Travis Kern coming off the bench.
