Elk Grove Baptist hosts 9/11 commemoration

As part of its 9-11 anniversary commemoration, Elk Grove Baptist Church will celebrate our freedom as Americans with a complimentary picnic lunch after its Sunday morning Service of Worship.

As part of the festivities, the picnic will include ice cream distributed from a vintage Good Humor Ice Cream Truck; a "Bear Den" tailgating are to view the Bears' season opener against Atlanta; presentations by special units of the Elk Grove Village fire and police departments; and concerts by the Chicago Swedish Men's Glee Club and the jazz ensemble St. Bagu.
