Two administrators join District 200 staff

Wheaton Warrenville District 200 officials hired two new administrators Wednesday, replacing two retiring assistant superintendents. In a news release, the district announced that Faith Dahlquist and Joanne Panopoulos had been hired and would start their new positions July 1.

The new administrators’ salaries were not immediately available.

The decision was announced following a short closed session during the board’s regular meeting. Dahlquist, who will take over as assistant superintendent of educational services, has served as an administrator in Valley View School District in Romeoville for the past 16 years. During that time, she has served in various assistant superintendent positions and as principal of an elementary schol.

Panopolous will replace Linda Knicker as assistant superintendent of special services. Panopolous was most recently a director of student services at West Northfield School District in Northbrook.

“We are fortunate to welcome these experienced and highly talented educators to join our Community Unit District 200 team,” Superintendent Brian Harris said.
