Harper women handle Triton
The Harper women's basketball team came away with a 62-43 North Central Community College Conference victory over Triton College on Tuesday night at the Sports and Wellness Center.
After playing what could have been her worst half of basketball this season Saturday against Madison Area Technical College, sophomore guard Peggie Parhas scored a team high 23 points with 5 assists. Forward Anna Kirchoff scored 20 points and shot 47 percent from the field.
Harper forward Betsy Bailey had a career-high 15 rebounds but had to leave the game with a knee injury.
The Hawks improved to 13-8 overall and 4-3 in league play.
