Northwestern University Researcher speaks on Schizophrenia and Empathy

Dr. Smith, who uses brain imaging methods in his research, will discuss how the activation of some of the areas of the brain associated with schizophrenia affects social functioning and why affected individuals should be targeted for intervention. from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Barrington Village Hall, 200 S. Hough Street, Barrington. Come and hear what the latest research is saying about this neurodevelopmental disorder, its progression, and the research being conducted to help those who struggle with this condition.
