Summer session class registration on at ECC
Submitted by ECC
Registration for summer and fall credit classes is under way at Elgin Community College and continues until classes start, space permitting.
There are five summer sessions with classes beginning the weeks of May 28, June 3 and 17, and July 1 and 15.
Fall daytime and evening 16-week classes begin the week of Aug. 19; 12-week classes begin the week of Sept. 16; and eight-week classes begin the week of Oct. 14. Early registration is advised to get the best selection of courses and times.
Students may register for any course online at elgin.edu/accessecc as long as its prerequisites and/or minimum competencies are met and space for effective instruction is available. Students will be expected to provide proof of having met course prerequisites, if documentation is not already on file with the ECC Records Office. For more information, visit elgin.edu/register.
Registration may also be made in person at the Registration Center located in Building B, Room B105, on the Spartan Drive Campus, 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin. The Registration Center is open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays.
Students attending college for the first time are required to attend new student orientation before registering. Prior to being assigned an orientation date, students must complete an application for admission and meet all minimum competency requirements. For more information, visit elgin.edu/apply.
