January 'Images' Looks Back at 2011
“Images,” College of DuPage's monthly one-half hour television show, features in its January edition a look back at some of the highlights of 2011, as well asthe recent dedication of the College's Skills Kitchen for former Culinary program coordinator George Macht.
Each month, Images highlights the personalities, news and curriculum of a vibrant College of DuPage campus. The show airs on 13 area cable television stations.
The January Images highlights some of the top stories from 2011, including the inaugural Laps With the Chaps 5K, the installation of the World Trade Center beam at the new Homeland Security Education Center, and the openings of the HEC, Student Services Center and Culinary & Hospitality Center.
This month's program also features footage from the recent dedication of the CHC Skills Kitchen to former Culinary Coordinator George Macht. Macht, a COD Culinary professor, began at the College in 1976 and has dedicated more than 30 years to COD and its students.
The January edition also includes a segment on the recent Scholarship Reception. This annual event celebrates the achievements of College of DuPage students and connects the College's generous donors with the students their gifts assist.
This month's edition of Images also features “Cooking With Chris,” a food segment with College of DuPage Culinary Professor Chris Thielman. This month, Thielman prepares a salmon flower with sautéed vegetables.
Images airs at various times on cable television stations in Downers Grove, Wheaton, Addison, Elmhurst, Glen Ellyn, Naperville, Glendale Heights, Bartlett, Lemont, Elk Grove, Darien, Aurora and West Chicago. Check local cable listings for times and channels.
