Stevenson shuts out Z-B
Katie Krejsa had a goal and an assist, and keeper Cori Calcaterra stopped 4 shots, as Stevenson’s girls soccer team blanked host Zion-Benton 3-0 in a North Suburban Lake Division match Friday.
Olivia Whalen and Julia Hasdan also scored for Stevenson (10-3-2). Jenna Weiner and Haley Green also had assists.
Grant 1, Woodstock North 0: Alyssa Wilhelm scored in the second half off an assist from Marissa Allen, and Jen Jones had 7 saves for the host Bulldogs in the nonconference game.
Wheaton North 1, Lake Zurich 0: At Wheaton North, the Bears surrendered a first-half goal in the Naperville invite contest.
Eleanor Daleske stopped nine shots in goal for Lake Zurich (8-6-1-).
