Union Latina St. Charles hosts Cultura Festival 2012 Nov. 4 at Arcada Theater
ST. CHARLES – Union Latina St. Charles will sponsor CULTURA FESTIVAL 2012, bringing regional folklore from Mexico and flamenco from Spain to the Arcada Theater in St. Charles on Sunday, November 4.
The event will run from 7 to 10 p.m. at the historic theater, located at 105 E. Main Street, Saint Charles, Ill.
Three award winning folkloric groups will be performing, including Ballet Folklorico Quetzalcoatl, Back of the Yards Neighborhood Council Folkloric Ballet and Soul & Duende Flamenco.
Tickets to CULTURA FESTIVAL 2012.are $10 and $20. They can be purchased online at oshows.com or by calling 630-962-7000.
The CULTURA FESTIVAL is organized by Union Latina St. Charles (ULSTC), a not-for-profit organization in St. Charles that conducts events to support Hispanic culture; provides support services for Spanish-speaking residents of central Kane County; and also provides English as a Second Language (ESL) classes for individuals in the Tri-City area.
