Cary Parks to host preschool preview

If you are interested in registering your child for preschool for the 2016-17 school year, the Cary Park District will host a Preschool Preview from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19.

During the open house, visitors can meet the teachers, tour the classrooms, and receive program and registration information.

"The Preschool Preview provides parents and children with the opportunity to learn more about our preschool program," said Erica Hedlund, program manager. "Teachers will be available to answer questions about the program and children are welcome to explore our classrooms."

The Cary Park District Preschool creates a positive, sensitive, and responsive environment to help children feel valued and grow with each learning experience. Through developmentally appropriate activities, the teachers foster physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth while promoting a lifetime love of learning.

The preschool is within Lions Park at 1180 Silver Lake Road in Cary.

Programs offered in the 2016-17 school year include morning classes for children, age 3 to 5.

Resident registration begins Monday, Jan. 25. Nonresident registration begins Monday, Feb. 8.
