Chicago Northwest Suburban Alumnae Panhellenic to offer scholarships

The Chicago Northwest Suburban Alumnae Panhellenic's "Stylin for Scholars" Fall Fashion Show & Luncheon was a great success. This success enables the group to offer five $1,200 scholarships to high school women who are seniors at eligible area schools and who plan to attend a college or university that has National Panhellenic groups.

The following high schools are eligible: Barrington, Buffalo Grove, Cary-Grove, Christian Liberty Academy, Conant, Crystal Lake Central, Crystal Lake South, Elk Grove, Fremd, Hersey, Hoffman Estates, Lake Zurich, Maine West, Palatine, Prairie Ridge, Prospect, Rolling Meadows, Schaumburg, St. Viator and Wheeling.

Scholarship recipients are not obligated to join a sorority when they attend a college, but those who do will be entered into a drawing the following year for a chance to receive a $500 scholarship.

This year five $500 scholarships will be awarded to collegiate women.

Applications must be completed by March 1, 2019.

Winners will be requested to attend the Scholarship banquet on April 24, 2019.
