Edward Foundation's 32nd annual Big Gig set for Sept. 24 at Westin Lombard

The Edward Foundation's 32nd annual gala, "The Big Gig: Magnifique," will be held Saturday, Sept. 24 at the Westin Lombard, 70 Yorktown Center.

The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with cocktails and silent auction, followed by dinner, dancing and a live auction.

Special guest and anchor of ABC 7 Chicago's weekday newscasts, Alan Krashesky, will be the emcee for the evening.

The gala is the foundation's largest fundraiser of the year and supports Edward Hospital programs and services that directly impact patients. A portion of event funds raised this year will help fund strategic upgrades across numerous Edward Hospital specialties, including oncology, cardiology, and behavioral health services at Linden Oaks.

A variety of sponsorship opportunities are available, tables of ten or individual tickets can be purchased, and individuals and businesses can donate items for the silent and live auctions.

In addition, the gala will feature an "Ultimate Raffle" ($100 for one ticket, $200 for three tickets).

The winner will choose one of the following: $2,500 in cash, a Pedego electric bike, an all-inclusive oasis in San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico or the ultimate Wine Country excursion in Sonoma, California.

The Edward Foundation was established in 1990 and has raised more than $54.5 million in its mission to support Edward Hospital's community health care initiatives, invest in the most advanced diagnostic and treatment technology, recruit world-class medical professionals and deliver the highest quality care to almost 1.7 million patients within the area it serves.
