Science & Arts Academy to host Student Panel event on Feb. 23
Science & Arts Academy (SAA), an independent school for gifted students in Des Plaines, is hosting a virtual Student Panel discussion for prospective families on Wednesday, Feb. 23. This event is especially designed for prospective students and parents who want to meet and hear from the school's current students.
Prospective families will first hear from Head of School Tim Costello before meeting a panel of Science & Arts Academy elementary and middle school students. Student panelists will answer questions about student life, academics, the SAA experience and more. Guests will be invited and encouraged to submit questions in advance, and will also have the opportunity to ask questions during the open Q&A live event.
Director of Enrollment Mindy Hildebrandt is busy planning for an event that gives prospective families an opportunity to ask pointed questions, while empowering current students to share their own personal perspectives about the SAA experience.
"Our students are excited to be able to tell their own story and help others learn more about their home away from home. We are so excited to invite prospective families to get to know our community up close."
Families who are interested in learning more about how gifted children thrive at Science & Arts Academy are invited to register for this, or other public events, on the school's website at scienceandartsacademy.org/events.
