Wookstock chamber honors community stars at annual award dinner

The Woodstock Chamber of Commerce & Industry held its Annual Dinner Feb. 20 at the Woodstock Public House. At the event, the chamber announced the winners of its 69th annual awards.

"Our annual awards are always of interest to the community, shining the spotlight on the best and brightest of the last year," says Shari Gray, Executive Director of the Woodstock Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

The 2013 Professional Service Provider of the Year Award was presented to Woodstock Professional & Business Women.

The 2013 Industry of the Year Award went to Claussen Pickle Company.

The 2013 Volunteer of the Year Award was taken home by Todd Kinker.

The 2013 Retailer of the Year Award was bestowed on Woodstock Theatre.

Highlighting the evening was the presentation of the 2014 Harold Buschkopf Award, which was awarded to Kim Larson, Executive Director at Family Alliance.

"We are proud of all of our deserving award winners, who each served the Woodstock community in their own unique ways," Gray said.
