Register for Family Health Fest
Centegra Health System will welcome the community to the Centegra Family Health Fest and Touch a Truck event from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 18, to celebrate the construction of Centegra Hospital-Huntley.
Parking for the event will be at Marlowe Middle School, 9625 Haligus Road in Lake in the Hills, and community members will be bused to Centegra Health Campus-Huntley.
Activities will include Touch a Truck, a Teddy Bear Clinic, a free bike helmet and fitting for the first 300 children younger than 16 to attend, a rock climbing wall, an opportunity to play "Bags to the Bones" with McHenry County Orthopaedics, and a balloon artist.
The event will include one free backpack for every family that attends, snacks and refreshments provided by Kona Ice and an open swim session at the Centegra Health Bridge Fitness Center-Huntley outdoor pool from noon to 2 p.m. Community members are asked to bring their own towels to the open swim session.
