'Woman Up!' author and career coach to speak at McHenry County College

McHenry County College will host career coach Aimee Cohen, author of "Woman Up!," from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, in the Luecht Conference Center, 8900 Route 14 in Crystal Lake.

In Cohen's presentation, "Woman Up!" the same title as her book, she will talk about the seven deadly sins that sabotage women's success and offer practical solutions to overcome them. She is well known for connecting with audiences in a sincere, inspiring way.

Cohen, owner of Cohen Career Consulting, has been coaching clients in executive, management, and other professional positions since 1993. Her insights are a product of 23 years of experience and a nearly 100 percent success rate helping hundreds of clients. Her book conveys a powerful and practical message that exposes seven self-sabatoging behaviors that keep women from success. Using real-life examples, shared experiences and Cohen' own guilty confessions, "Woman Up!" delivers the sage advice every woman needs to hear.

She has been featured in Denver Woman magazine, Denver Business Journal, Channel 4 magazine, the Wall Street Journal, and many other publications.

Admission is $20 or $25 at the door. All proceeds will go toward the Education to Empowerment scholarships for women.
