Farm fresh beef or pork roast
3 pound fresh beef or pork roast
1 cup ketchup (or frozen or canned tomatoes)
¼ to ½ cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons of your favorite herbs or seasonings (I like Mrs. Dash myself or use basil, oregano or garlic)
1 onion, chopped
3 to 4 carrots, chopped (chop carrots and potatoes to like size)
3 to 4 potatoes, chopped
1 cup of water or broth
Turn crockpot on high (3-4 hours) or on low (6-8 hours). Add roast and water or broth. Add onion, carrots and potatoes. Spread ketchup on top, sprinkle brown sugar and soy sauce and add seasonings. Cook and enjoy tender, falling-of-the-bone meat.
