Health department offers cardiovascular screenings

The McHenry County Department of Health will offer cardiovascular screenings from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, at the Woodstock Public Library, 414 W. Judd St., and 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, at the Johnsburg Public Library, 3000 W Johnsburg Road.

The screening requires a 12-hour fast and includes total cholesterol, HDL and LDL cholesterol, fasting blood glucose, triglycerides, blood pressure, heart age assessment and cardiovascular education.
