CUB to host phone bill clinic
The Citizens Utility Board, Illinois' premier watchdog group, is holding a free phone-bill clinic at the Crystal Lake Public Library. Bring your phone bill.
Experts will sit with attendees one-on-one and provide money-saving tips, including how to get a $20 credit on long-distance bills.
Last year, the board showed consumers how to cut their annual calling costs by an average of $200.
If you are concerned about your wireless bill, information will be given CUB's Cellphone Saver, a free online tool that is showing consumers how to save hundreds on their wireless bills.
Phone-bill Clinic will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 13 at the Crystal Lake Public Library, 126 Paddock St., Crystal Lake.
If you can't attend the clinic, go to the Phone Savings Center or call CUB at (866) 688-4282.
