Animal adoption open houses today, Saturday

McHenry County's Animal Control and Adoption Center has a full house so they are hosting two adoption events - 10:30 a.m. TO 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 23 and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 26 at its newest facility in Crystal Lake, 100 N. Virginia St.

There are several cats and dogs waiting for their forever home. Adoption fees are $80 and include all vaccinations, spay/neuter, FELV and FIV testing, microchip, de-worming, collar and kennel tag, free first vet visit, discounted grooming and a free bag of food.
