Haircuts for Heroes: through July, Salon Professional Academy, Elgin. One dollar for every service performed during the month of July will be donated to Wounded Heroes Foundation, a nonprofit providing financial and emotional support to the wounded men and women who served our country. Palatine North Little League Photo's Hotdogs fundraiser: Business hours through July 19, 301 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine. Eat at Photo's Hotdogs and mention you are with Palatine North Little League and Photo's will donate 25% of your sales to help cover the travel costs for the league's player heading to the White House for an exhibition game on the south lawn.
