Rotary Clubs of McHenry wins Philanthropists of the Year

The Community Foundation for McHenry County announced the Rotary Clubs of McHenry County received their 2023 Philanthropists of the Year Award at the McHenry County Economic Development Corporation annual dinner on Nov. 8 at Holiday Inn in Crystal Lake.

The Coalition of McHenry County Rotary Clubs includes Algonquin, Cary-Grove, Crystal Lake Dawnbreakers, Fox Valley Sunset, Huntley, Lake in the Hills, McHenry, Northwest Supper Club, Spring Grove/Richmond and Woodstock.

Each club contributes to their community with scholarships, programs, learning opportunities and community service.

Together, they staff a booth at the McHenry County Fair annually and support each other on collaborative projects and fundraisers. Visit a Rotary club in your community to volunteer and participate.
