St. Thomas' Advent Lessons & Carols program features acclaimed vocalists

A pair of nationally recognized inspirational vocalists and recording artists will headline the annual Advent Lessons & Carols program at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 1500 Brookdale Road in Naperville.

John Angotti and Meredith Augustin will join the St. Thomas Music Makers, including both youth and adult choirs and instrumentalists, in this prayerful presentation of Scripture readings and music that promises to provide an inspiring, faith-filled preparation for Christmas.

Angotti is a full-time music missionary who travels world-wide providing inspirational music and witness to all age groups though concerts, workshops, retreats, missions, conferences and worship.

Augustin is director of music at the Church of St. Francis of Assisi in Midtown Manhattan.

A featured soloist on most of Angotti's recordings, she has worked in ministry since the age of 9 as cantor, accompanist and choir director for churches.
