Toast Clearbrook at two upcoming fundraising events
For more than 65 years, Clearbrook has been providing personalized services and programs for adults and children with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
A nonprofit, Clearbrook relies on the generosity of its community to go above and beyond for their individuals.
In fact, 89% of every dollar donated goes right back to those they serve.
Events are one way they raise the much-needed funds. Clearbrook's signature event, "Friends Wine and Beer Tasting," will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday, June 24, at Church Street Brewing Company, 1480 Industrial Drive, Unit C, in Itasca.
It will feature an open bar with wine and beer, food stations, raffle and silent auction.
This year's event features a casino night theme. With each ticket purchase, you receive $25 in fun gambling chips with the option to purchase more. Tables include craps, roulette, poker and blackjack (no cash prizes).
The cost is $75 per person or $145 per couple. Group rates are also available. This event is limited to guests 21 or older.
Clearbrook's Associate Board, a group of young professionals committed to increasing awareness of Clearbrook's mission to empower adults and children with intellectual/developmental disabilities, is hosting its "Mad Hatter Mayhem Pub Crawl" from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 22, in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood.
Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 on event day, and include a T-shirt, party favors, appetizers and more.
Clearbrook would like to thank the sponsors who make these events possible: Uvanta Pharmacy; Allen and Janet Lattoff; Canon, Dugan & Lopatka; Mary Ellen and Barry Masek; Brian Rubin; Workday; and Jewel Osco.
