Donate blood May 17 at Gary Church in Wheaton

Every day, Versiti Blood Center of Illinois needs more than 540 blood products to meet hospital demand.

Gary United Methodist Church in Wheaton is holding a blood drive through Versiti to help meet the need in the community. It will be 2 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, at the church, 224 N. Main St.

Register to give blood at garychurch.org. Walk-ins are also welcome.

Save the dates for these blood drives at Gary Church: Aug. 23 and Nov. 29, from 2 to 6 p.m.

Gary United Methodist Church will offer 9 a.m. summer Sunday worship in the sanctuary. The 9 a.m. service is complete with Kids' Church and nursery care, plus livestreaming and recorded worship at garychurch.org. At 10 a.m., you can enjoy a coffee hour called "Special Blend." With deep roots in the community since 1853, Gary Church has vibrant music, kids, youth and adult ministries, plus opportunities for local, national and global missions.
