Wheaton's Gary UMC offers two Bible camps this summer

Gary United Methodist Church in Wheaton is offering Bible camps for preschoolers through middle school this summer.

The "Stellar" vacation Bible school will be 9 a.m. to noon Monday to Thursday, June 19-22. It is for students entering 4-year-old preschool through fourth grade.

At the vacation Bible school, kids will enjoy faith-building fun through stories, games, music, sciency-fun gizmos and more.

For older kids, entering fifth to eighth grade, sign up for "Level Up! BLAST Camp" from 9 a.m. to noon Monday to Thursday, June 19-22. Middle schoolers will journey through the world of video games and learn to "level up" in their life with Jesus.

You can register for both camps at garychurch.org/registrations.

It is $30 per participant. The fee covers a "Stellar" VBS shirt, sciency-fun gizmos, snacks and more.

Gary United Methodist Church, 224 N. Main St. in Wheaton, offers 9 and 11 a.m. Sunday worship services in the sanctuary.

The 9 a.m. service is complete with Kids' Church and nursery care, plus livestreaming and recorded worship at garychurch.org. The 11 a.m. Service of Word & Sacrament is an intimate and informal service. At 10 a.m., you can enjoy a coffee hour called "Special Blend" and Sunday school for all ages.
