Love was all around at Wheaton's Prairie Path Books

Love was all around at Prairie Path Books, a local independent bookstore in Wheaton's Town Square.

A very little girl came in with her mom, who took a photo of her daughter giving a huge hug to a really big bunny on display in the shop.

Sandy Koropp, the store's owner, was touched by the scene and sent a message to Prairie Path Book's followers.

Within hours, an anonymous donor who had seen the post gifted the enormous bunny to the very happy toddler.

It was a very local, very lovely experience.

For over a decade, Prairie Path Books at 255 Town Square has been providing its customers with not only a wide selection of children's books and Jellycat brand stuffed animals but hand-selected new books for all ages, plus the perfect gifts for readers and events such as author visits, book reviews parties, book clubs and more.

Check out Prairie Path Books' website, prairiepathbooks.com. The store is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Saturday, noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday, or online anytime.
