Science & Arts Academy to host 'SAA Day' Feb. 4

Science & Arts Academy, an independent school for gifted students in Des Plaines, is hosting an in-person event for prospective students and their families from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at 1825 Miner St., Des Plaines.

This event is especially designed for families who may be exploring educational options for their students.

Unlike a typical open house style event, the school is offering the opportunity to "be an SAA student for the day" through live, interactive sessions. Prospective students will take part in lessons specifically designed for their grade level, taught by SAA's faculty.

Director of Enrollment Mindy Hildebrandt is busy planning for an experience that will be both educational and fun.

"We are so excited to invite prospective families to our campus, where they can meet our teachers, experience lessons, and get to know our community in-person!"

Parents are invited to watch the interactive lessons and see the school. Families who are interested in learning more about how gifted children thrive at Science & Arts Academy are invited to register for this, or other public events, on the school's website, scienceandartsacademy.org/events.
