Wayne Township to host Reuse/Recycle/Shred Event Aug. 7
The Wayne Township office, 27W031 North Ave. in West Chicago, is hosting a reuse/recycle/shred event on Saturday, Aug. 7 from 10 a.m. to noon.
Items collected include: eyeglasses, tattered or faded American flags, sump/car batteries and textiles in any condition (towels, sheets, shoes, purses, clothes, rags, belts.).
Safe medication disposal kits will be available for those wanting to safely discard of old/unused medications.
Document shredding will be limited to five plastic grocery size bags.
