Naperville's St. Thomas the Apostle sets Christmastide Mass schedule

Come celebrate the birth of Christ at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 1500 Brookdale Road, Naperville.

Guests and visitors to the area are especially welcome and can choose from a variety of Mass times to join St. Thomas parishioners in joyful prayer and song.

On Christmas Eve, Tuesday, Dec. 24, Mass in the church at 4 p.m. will include the Christmas Proclamation. The Holy Gospel will be enacted by the children of St. Thomas. The service is geared toward families. Both the young and the young at heart are welcome to attend.

At 4:10 p.m., Mass will be celebrated in the gymnasium inside the church building.

St. Thomas liturgical and music ministers will serve at the 4:30 p.m. Mass at St. Patrick's Residence, next door to St. Thomas, immediately east of the church at 1400 Brookdale Road.

All ages are joyfully invited to attend the 7 p.m. Mass in the church featuring the High School/Young Adult Choir.

At 9:30 p.m., Christmas carols will be sung by the Voices of Faith, the St. Thomas adult choir, in the church immediately preceding the 10 p.m. Christmas Mass in the church.

On Christmas Day, Wednesday, Dec. 25, there will be a 9 and 11 a.m. Mass in the church.

On Saturday, Dec. 28, the Feast of the Holy Family Mass of Anticipation, there will be a 4:30 p.m. Mass in the church.

On Sunday, Dec. 29, the Feast of the Holy Family, Mass will be at 8, 9:30 and 11:15 a.m. in the church. There will be no 6 p.m. Mass on this day.

On Tuesday, Dec. 31, the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God Mass of Anticipation, join in the 4:30 p.m. Mass. There will be no 8:30 a.m. Mass.

On Wednesday, Jan. 1, the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God, there will be a 10 a.m. Mass in the church.
