Lavelle Law Charities Holiday Food Drive Exceeds Expectations

Schaumburg-based Lavelle Law Charities recently wrapped up its annual Food Drive by delivering yet another large donation of food and other products at the Schaumburg Township Food Pantry. The overall donation is estimated to be 50% larger than last year.

Jackie Lindert, Marketing and Design Director at Lavelle Law said that widespread community support is the key to the annual drive's success. "This year we increased our number of donations sites to 27, making it very convenient for residents and workers in Schaumburg to participate. We are grateful for everyone's support."

Helping get the drive started was a significant contribution from Food Drive sponsor Tony's Fresh Market. Lindert recognized two local companies that made unexpected but sizeable donations, thanking Norman Mechanical and First American Title Insurance Company for their contributions.

Lindert said that the when the firm delivered the items collected to the Schaumburg Food Pantry, they exceeded the capacity of the site's main storage room.

"We are so pleased to lead this effort on behalf of everyone in Schaumburg to help battle hunger in our community, particularly as the holidays approach," said Lindert. "We hope that we have made things a little brighter for families in need in our community."

The firm received recognition from The Schaumburg Township Food Pantry on November 20 for their commitment to helping fight hunger in the area.
