Buy locally made items and food at Heritage Farm Local Market Days

Go straight to the source and visit the Heritage Farm Museum Shop to sample and purchase locally made and grown foods along with other goods at Schaumburg Park District's Heritage Farm Local Market Days.

Local Market Days are set for 9 a.m. to noon, June 15, July 13, and Aug. 10 at Heritage Farm, 201 S. Plum Grove Road. Products available for purchase will include fresh produce, cheese, locally raised meat, handicrafter designed goods and other specialty goods.

"There is interest in knowing where food comes from and how animals are fed and raised to produce the food we consume," said Patty Kennedy, farm program coordinator. "Market Days give patrons the opportunity to ask those questions at a unique farmers market right on the farm!"

Admission is free and is suitable for all ages.
