Scorched Earth Day Festival returns with craft beer, music and more April 26-27

Scorched Earth Brewing Company will be hosting the fourth annual Scorched Earth Day Festival, featuring craft beer, live music and entertainment, from 3 to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, April 26-27.

A full beer lineup including sour releases and specialty beers will be served.

Original, live music featuring national talent of all genres will play throughout the days and will feature local favorites Jim and Justin from Modern Day Romeos, Hello Weekend, and more!

Popular food vendors will be serving throughout the festival featuring: Toasty Cheese, Your Sister's Tomato Wood Fired Pizza, BBQ King and Toasty Taco.

New this year is Ax Throwing on Saturday.

"We are excited to bring this two-day festival to the community; the last three years have been a lot of fun for families to get out and enjoy the start of the spring season" quoted co-owner Jennifer Dallas.

The all-ages festival will be held in the parking lot of Scorched Earth Brewing Co at 203 Berg St. in Algonquin, just west of downtown.

For attendees over 18, general admission is $10 pre-sale or $15 at the door.

General admission and VIP tickets are available prior to the event in the Scorched Earth tap room.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of McHenry County.
