ACFW-Chicago Invites Writers to Learn the 10 Cultural Universals

Writers of all genres and levels of experience are invited to attend "The 10 Cultural Universals" during the American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW)-Chicago Chapter meeting from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Friday, April 12 in the Program Room on the first floor of the Schaumburg Library, 130 S. Roselle Rd., Schaumburg. Non-members welcome to attend. During this meeting, Editor and Book Coach Lori Mulligan Davis will explain how compelling writers weave their stories into the fabric of society to make small towns, big cities, and even the fictional planet of Tatooine become vivid to readers. Writers will discover creative ways to enrich their settings, plots and characters.

Non-members may attend two meetings without joining the group. To join the ACFW Chicago chapter, which meets monthly in Schaumburg, a writer must first join the national chapter. For more information, go to ACFW.org or the ACFW-Chicago Chapter Facebook page, or contact ACFW Chicago President Susan Miura at susan.miura@yahoo.com.
