Grayslake Arts Group Seeking New Members

The Grayslake Arts Alliance, a group of creatives and artists dedicated to promoting the arts in Grayslake, through education, participation, and development, is seeking new members as part of the group's first-ever membership drive.

The Grayslake Arts Alliance, which is open to artists from throughout northern Illinois, aims to make Grayslake an arts hub by building bridges with community groups, local government, and businesses. The group aims to create programming that will educate, enlighten, and excite. Key to the GAA mission is creating an arts center that will further develop the downtown Grayslake area.

The $50 annual membership entitles members to show and sell their work at four local art exhibits a year as well as the opportunity to show and sell in the spring Grayslake Farmers Market, in local businesses through the GAA's Arts in the Community program, the opportunity to teach workshops, and the benefit of networking with artists throughout Lake County.

The membership registration application is available through the GAA website at www.grayslakeartsalliance.org. Easy online payment is available through the website or payment can be mailed to Grayslake Arts Alliance, PO Box 559, Grayslake, IL 60030.
