Twin Choirs Will Perform Christmas Music Special

Lloyd Larson's The Glory of Christmas, a holiday choral performance, is being presented on December 23 by the joined choirs of The First United Methodist Church of Des Plaines and the Hinsdale Fil-Am Seventh-Day Adventist Church. The performance will take place during the 10:00 a.m. Sunday worship service at First UMC.

The church is located on Graceland at Prairie Avenues. Parking is available across the street in the Des Plaines City Parking Lot.

Rev. Dr. Irene Taylor, Pastor of First UMC, in conjunction with Mr. Nander Novaes, First UMC's Director of Music Ministry, are inviting all to come and participate and experience this Cantata of beautiful Christmas music. Refreshments will be served.
