McHenry County Storytelling Guild to host Tellebration Nov. 17

The McHenry County Storytelling Guild invites the public to a "Tellebration," a celebration of stories for all ages, from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at Shepherd of the Prairie Lutheran Church, 10805 Main St., Huntley.

Tellebration is a worldwide evening of storytelling creating a network of storytelling enthusiasts bonded together in spirit at the same time and on the same weekend.

There will be a variety of stories appropriate for all ages.

Area tellers include Sun City Lifelong Learning speakers Martina Mathesin and Andy Talley.

Bill and Carol Waxenberg, Sun City residents, are regular tellers on Huntley Radio's "Once Upon A Time."

Other well known are Will Tremont, Randy Solenberger, Joanne Knaack, Glen Mensinger, Zena McFadden and Jerry Martin.

This free event includes refreshments. All are welcome.
