Lavelle Law Hosts Food Drive to Benefit Schaumburg Township Food Pantry

Preparations are underway for Schaumburg based Lavelle Law to host its annual food drive in collaboration with key sponsor Tony's Fresh Market. This year, the collected items will be donated to the Schaumburg Township Food Pantry.

The Lavelle Law Charities Food Drive will take place Monday, October 1st through Friday, November 9th and will have drop-off locations in the Schaumburg area. Employees and community members are encouraged to drop off nonperishable food items, paper goods, personal care items, baby formula, diapers, and pet food.

Attorney Kerry Lavelle who first launched the Lavelle Charities Food Drives over a decade ago attributes the success to contributions from local residents and sponsors such as Tony's Fresh Market which has a store at the Westview Center in Hanover Park. "This is a collective effort between residents, sponsors and the many local business who set up collection boxes for us."

On Friday, November 9th, Lavelle Law employees will collect the donations from the drop-off locations and deliver the items to the Schaumburg Township Food Pantry, which services residents living in parts of Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Rolling Meadows, Elk Grove Village, Hanover Park, Roselle, and Streamwood.

Lavelle Law has a long history of charitable work, including an annual food drive, book drive, and pro bono legal work.

"Serving the community has always been an integral part of what we do at Lavelle Law," said Managing Partner, Ted McGinn. "We moved into our Schaumburg offices last year and we're excited to bring this charitable event to our new community."
