College of DuPage celebrates 'Technology and Society'

College of DuPage students discuss their research at the culminating event for the library's 2017-2018 "Thematic Focus: Technology and Society."

The Thematic Focus series encouraged students to explore diverse questions, methods and materials in studying a selected yearly topic from various viewpoints through the lenses of different disciplines.

Throughout the academic year, the library hosted events and presentations designed to encourage a deeper exploration of the relationships between society and advanced technology as well as technology's impact on societal themes.
