Talented Area Artists Have Been Selected to Participate in 43rd Annual Show

A number of area artists have been selected to participate in the 43rd Annual Oak Park Ave-Lake Arts & Crafts Show,to be held in Scoville Park, 800 w Lake St, Oak Park IL. This long time popular juried event will be held Saturday and Sunday August 26 and 27. New exhibitors in the show include Marzena Sosnowska, Warrenville working in the tri-metals (copper, brass and silver) to create her beautiful unique jewelry, Ludmila Lizzio, Sugar Grove exhibiting her beautiful fiber works; Tony Delisi, Lake in the HIlls, unique metal works; Kyle Hisir, Naperville, hand-crafted jewlery; Debbie VanGorp, Naperville, recycles mens ties into unique accessories; Rosemary Mattick, Crystal Lake, with her popular hand-crafted soaps. Selected to return to the show are popular exhibitors Barbora Simerksa, Island Lake with her wonderful hand-crafted upscale jewelry; Jolanta Runge, Ruond Lake, pottery; and Sanjay Shah, Naperville, his unique hand-crafted jewelry. They will join with other exhibitors to show an enticing array of work ranging from paintings, pottery and glassworks to artwear, woodworking and even cigar box guitars.
