Centegra, American Cancer Society partner to host Freshstart Program

Centegra Health System and the American Cancer Society partner to empower individuals with their first step toward quitting a tobacco habit through the six-week Freshstart Program.

From 1 to 2 p.m. each Thursday, Aug. 24 through Sept. 28, Centegra will hold a Freshstart meeting at Meeting Room A in the lower level at Centegra Hospital-Huntley, 10400 Haligus Road.

Freshstart is designed to help individuals set their quit date from any tobacco product.

The program provides coping skills for cravings, ways to battle the psychological and physical side effects of tobacco cessation and group support.
