Illusionist Reza comes to ECC Arts Center May 17

Acclaimed illusionist Reza will perform his new show "Edge of Illusion," a groundbreaking and grand-scale production designed to simultaneously amaze and personally connect with audience members, on Wednesday, May 17, at the ECC Arts Center. The performance will take place at 7:30 p.m. at the center, Building H, 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin.

Reza's interest in the world of magic began at the early age of seven, after he was inspired by a magic show in his hometown of Brookings, S.D.

By age 14, Reza was performing for resorts and large corporations across the Midwest. Today, the once youth magician prodigy is one of the industry's fastest-rising stars, with his mind set on changing the world's perception of magic.

Reza was voted "2016 Magician of the Year" and recently completed a 100-show residency in Branson, Mo. He has appeared on A&E's "Duck Dynasty," MTV, The CW, PBS and will be featured on "Penn & Teller: Fool Us" this summer. The Denver Post calls Reza "the world's top touring illusionist."

Tickets for "Reza: Edge of Illusion" are $22 to $45 or $17 to $40 for children. VIP seating includes a question-and-answer time with Reza that will feature additional illusions/magic tricks not featured in the performance.
