Nov. 10: CLC hosts Open House at Grayslake Campus

Current high school students and adults can discover all the career-enhancing opportunities offered by the College of Lake County at an Open House from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10 at the Grayslake Campus, 19351 W. Washington St.

Prospective students can speak with current students, enrollment services staff and faculty members and take campus tours that include the new Welcome and One Stop Center and Café Willow. The event will take place in the B Wing's new Welcome and One Stop Center. Free parking is available in Lot 4 near the James Lumber Center for the Performing Arts.

The Open House will provide answers to the questions that prospective students (and their parents) most frequently ask. Staff will offer three different half-hour sessions on these important topics:

• How to get started at CLC (step-by-step guide)

• Start here, transfer anywhere: how to begin a bachelor's degree at CLC

• Paying for college Prospective students also can speak with faculty and staff about transfer and career programs in Biological and Health Sciences; Business and Social Sciences; Communication Arts, Humanities and Fine Arts; and Engineering, Math and Physical Sciences. Refreshments will be served.
