Renewal Center to host anniversary open house

The Renewal Center's sixth anniversary open house will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 9, at McHenry County Mental Health Board, 620 Dakota St., Crystal Lake.

Join as a cancer survivor support group.

Heidi Kramer, registered dietitian and cancer survivor, loves talking about, writing about and preparing fresh food. "Tastefully Inspired: A Fresh Approach to Wellness" provides a blend of sound nutrition information and culinary delights designed to inspire healthy survivorship.

Kramer will speak at 6:30 p.m.

The quilt raffle winner will be announced and a silent auction is planned.
