The Fine Line hosts 'Original Fridays' featuring local fine artists, musicians

The Fine Line Creative Arts Center in St. Charles is excited to announce a new visual and performing arts series, "Original Fridays." Every other month on a Friday evening, Fine Line's Kavanagh Gallery will host three local fine artists selling original work, along with three local singer/songwriters performing original music.

Guests can shop artists' trunk shows spanning a variety of media including jewelry, ceramics and pottery, painting, photography, textiles and more. Refreshments will be served.

The first event in this series kicks off on Friday, March 11, from 6:30 to 10 p.m. at the gallery, 37W570 Bolcum Road, just west of Randall Road in St. Charles.

The trunk shows begin at 6:30 p.m., and the music starts at 7 p.m. Planned dates for the remainder of the year are May 13, July 22, Sept. 16 and Nov. 18.

As this is an ongoing event with rolling application deadlines, the Fine Line encourages all local visual artists and singer/songwriters to apply. Artists must be present to show/sell their own work. Applications can be downloaded from the website at fineline.org/call-for-artists/.
