Sign up for Algonquin Harvest Hustle Oct. 3

Join the Algonquin Recreation Department in the third annual Harvest Hustle 5K run/walk Saturday, Oct. 3.

The race will feature a professionally timed 3.2-mile run and a 1.5- mile walk road course throughout downtown Algonquin.

The race will start promptly at 8 a.m. at the historic village hall, 2 S. Main St.

Preregistration is $20 per walker, $25 per runner and available online at www.active.com and search for Harvest Hustle, Algonquin.

Registration will be available on race day.

All proceeds will benefit the village scholarship program, "Recreation for All-gonquin."

This program is designed to help area youth participate in recreation programs offered by the village at a discounted rate.
